So winter has finally passed the halfway point and it hasn't been all that bad really. The snow has been minimal and the temperature has been mild, we really have nothing to complain about. I would blame the depression that comes with winter on the lack of sunshine but we've had plenty of that as well, shit I've even been riding somewhat regularly. The process of keeping the ball rolling for the frame project is proving to be interesting. Mike is slowly gathering the tools necessary and thinking about chain stay jigs and alignment tables, he shown me a height checker the other day on his blackberry and i had no clue what the hell it was, thank god Mike's around. As for myself, I have been working on a proper website and sourcing small items to sell off of it to help generate cash for random tools and material. I'm one more conversation away from having our own signature coffee blend and I have come up with the perfect documentation package to go along with all frames. So I guess that we are coming along as best that can be expected considering the timeline. Of course, I have a wicked case of a.d.d. and need more to keep my interest peaked, hence the Rapha jersey that is pictured above. The jersey is the French Countrymen's jersey and it just arrived on my doorstep about an hour ago. If you know me personally you know that I have a huge fascination with the brand, not so much for their product but more so for their marketing. If you spend any time on their website and go through the pictures you get pulled into their lifestyle and immerse yourself in the fantasies of epic rides through the alps and looking like a rockstar while doing it. Rapha doesn't just sell high quality clothing, they sell a lifestyle, a lifestyle that myself and plenty others have bought into. It's marketing like this that inspires me, as we move forward in building a brand Rapha will always be the standard to aspire to.
